Château de Chantilly gate 60500 CHANTILLY
from 15h00 to 17h30
Chantilly's hydraulic network is exceptional. Designed by André Le Nôtre in the 17th century for the Prince de Condé's gardens, the canals stretch over 11 km.
A decorative and prestigious element, a venue for parties and shows, they also played a central role with the Pavillon de Manse for
supplying the ponds and water features of the Chantilly gardens. Take a guided tour along the Grand Canal,
from its head to the Grande écluse, passing through the Potager des Princes and Pavillon de Manse to reconstruct and understand how water flowed through Chantilly during the Grand Siècle.
Visit organised in partnership with the Château de Chantilly, the Pavillon de Manse and the Potager des Princes.
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September at 3pm
Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
Meet at the main gate of the Château de Chantilly
